If you are into miniatures, this is the place to go. If not you still will enjoy it. This building houses the biggest little collection of miniatures in the world (14,000 square feet). The displays range from one-room dioramas to relatively huge houses and castles with attention to detail. Most of the exhibits have step stools so the children may see every little thing. Other special exhibits include a bakery, Old West Town, Carnival Nights, Transportation, First Ladies in their famous Inaugural Ball Gowns. Note: You might like to bring a magnifying glass and make up a scavenger hunt for children. |
