There is a 15 minute movie called "Treasures of the Tar Pits" which explains that the fossils in the museum where pulled from the pits outside. There are over 30 exhibits including the famous Saber-tooth cats. There are fossils, skeletons and lifelike murals. There is also an animated model of a young mammoth and a room on Evolution. |
