There are four halls with exotic mammals in huge dioramas. There is a bird, fossil and a Megamouth exhibit. There is a large gemstone collection, don't miss the vault. U.S. and California history galleries have interesting pieces and displays. There is a rotating exhibit downstairs. The Discovery Center is a wonderful place for children. It is all hands-on learning and exploring. Books, Insect Zoo, fossils, skins, Native American section, and many educational games. |
