There is a history lesson waiting to happen at this nature center and park. The first gold was found here. It is marked by the "oak of the Golden Dream" on the trail about 1/4 mile from the parking lot. They have live reptiles and displays at the nature center. Hiking is for the more experienced with longer trails 8 mile hike along creek & waterfall. Scout Campground also. Special Saturday programs and summer camp. Call for more information. |
