Picture Explorer
When you point Picture Explorer to a folder on your hard drive, it finds all the images in that folder and displays them as miniature picture icons, much better looking than your typical thumbnail program. These "Picons" allow you to see which images you have available before you actually open them, unlike many image viewers which require you to open your pictures one by one to find the one you’re looking for. Very fast loading and very intuitive navigation.

Performer 98                (This does a very professional job!)
Performer 98’s easy drag and drop interface means you can create the best-looking presentations with a few clicks of the mouse. All content is depicted via convenient icons so you know exactly what your show will look like, and the slider bar allows you to preview your show and adjust settings step by step. Make professional looking slideshows, better than typical presentation software, these are broadcast quality. They can be distributed to you friends etc.

Security Gizmos - Shredder & Vault  (This is pretty cool too, but use carefully, this is real security)

• The Vault
  Consider the Vault your safety-deposit box for encrypted files. Like the other security utilities, the Vault is conveniently accessible from an Explorer file context menu (when you right-click a file, that is) and can be locked (password-protected) so as to hide all its contents, or unlocked (openable like a normal folder) to let others view the encrypted files contained therein.
• The Shredder
  A must for the power tripper, the Shredder ensures the files you delete stay gone. Deleting files the usual way still means those files can be retrieved with "snoop" or undelete programs, but the Shredder overwrites the unwanted data in one, three or seven passes to make shredded files absolutely irretrievable. The Shredder can be set to automatically perform its magic or to hold files like the Windows Recycle Bin until you give the order to destroy them, lest you change your mind and decide to spare a condemned document. This thing really destroys the evidence.

The Clocks
To combat being late and forgetting things, it was necessary to invent some way of measuring time. Happily, there is such an invention, and it is known as the clock. The clock is best and most convenient way to measure the smaller pieces of time (seconds, minutes and hours). Gizmos 98 has four such clocks which should make keeping track of time on your PC a joy. Among the clocks are a timer and one which sets itself automatically to Atomic Time, via the web.

Calculator Gizmos

The Calendars

Demo and Screen Saver Gizmos
PC monitors have become effectively immune to burn-in. As a means of survival, the screen saver has become something of an art form, gaining in graphical complexity as well as becoming a method by which techno-junkies can show off their knowledge and their latest hot-rod computers. Thus, it gives us great pleasure to introduce the Gizmos Screen Savers, which represent the bleeding edge of monitor-preservation technology.

Picture Puzzler
The object is to make Picture Puzzler reveal its pretty photographs by assembling the puzzle pieces from the left frame in the right frame. As you complete puzzles, the scenic snapshots will be revealed piece by piece to offer glimpses of places and things that are strange, funny, or merely pleasing to the eye.

Card Games
We dutifully added some card games to the Gizmos package. Six games, to be exact, with five providing varying difficulty levels for the diehard solo card shark and one offering the chance to duel like-minded gamers in a hectic multiplayer environment. And since each game offers realistic graphics, animations and sounds, you’ll feel as though you actually have the cards in front of you and a visor on your head.

• A PCI video card capable of 800x600 resolution with 256 color or better and Direct Draw support.

Some features require an Internet or other network connection and a 16-bit sound card. You may optionally install an additional 200 MB of effects, music, sound and other content.

Performer Requirements
The Performer component of Gizmos is graphically demanding, requiring an Intel Pentium 100mhz or faster and a high performance video card with 2mb of video RAM. We recommend 4MB or more for best results. Not all video cards are supported, but haven't heard of any problems with 5 year old or newer cards.
